Dance sessions 2013/14/15/16 - All done!

There certainly was lots of dancing.

The Optimist Club of Stanley Park began holding Saturday night dances in 2011 and is now offering them - during the school year - on a regular monthly basis.  Children aged 8 to 13 (inclusive)  are welcome to come out and join the party!

 

Music and games by  Car Toons  Mobile DJ Service  (Tom Panchaud)

 

Dances this year were all held in the Stanley Park Community Centre

Note: All participants had to be picked up by a parent/guardian.  No one was allowed to leave the dance without an approved escort of legal age.

Saturday  evening dances included:

September 21, 2013 - "Let's Dance"

October 26, 2013 - Halloween Theme

November 16, 2013 - Fall in and Dance

December 14, 2013 - "Sleigh Ride" - Christmas Youth Dance

January 18, 2014 - "I Can't Dance" - Dance-offs

February 22, 2014 - "Truly Madly Deeply" - Valentine's Day Theme

March 15, 2014 - "Video Killed the Radio Star"

April 26, 2014 - "Last Dance"

Door prizes, games and FUN, FUN, FUN!

Doors opened at 6:00 p.m. at the Stanley Park Community Centre.
Local children aged 8 to 13 inclusive were invited to attend ...
the more the merrier!
Admission was $5.00.
All the dances ended at 10:00 p.m. and were fully chaperoned.
Note: Additional adult volunteers were always welcome at our youth dances.
