Dates of play for 2025 are May 1* - June 26. *Please be aware that the fields/diamonds will undoubtedly not be in pristine condition early in the season as the City's grounds crews will still be working on the initial grooming. Regardless, all games are subject to weather and field conditions and are governed by permits issued by the City of Kitchener.
Playing days: All Blastball, Jr and Sr T-ball leagues will play, an average of two games per week, on Monday, Wednesday or Friday
All Jr and Sr 3-Pitch leagues will play, an average of two games per week, on Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday
Location: Games will be at Franklin Public School (371 Franklin St. N. Kitchener, ON N2A 1Y9)
Time: All games start at 6:30 pm
Practices: SPCA does not schedule any practices, individual teams may set their own practices
Equipment: Players require a baseball glove (if you need to borrow one, please email ball@spcakitchener.ca). No gloves are needed for Blastball. All other equipment is provided. All players in the Jr and Sr T-ball and Jr and Sr 3-Pitch leagues are required to wear face protection when playing an infield position.
What does your fee include: The fun stuff - shirt, hat, team picture, and a medallion. The not-so-fun stuff - city permits, advertising, website, coaches shirts, equipment repair/replacement, registration fees, umpire wages.
Attire: We recommend long pants, no jewelry, and running shoes.
Friend requests: Only mutual friend requests will be honoured.
Refund Policy: There is a $15 processing fee on all requests for refunds up to April 14, 2025, for our 2025 season. Sorry, but - unless our season gets cancelled, we do not issue any refunds for requests received on (or after) April 15, 2025. Any refunded amounts have to be processed to the same person and in the same manner as the initial payment was made. Note: There will be no refunds to anyone affected by an exclusion from participation for non-compliance with any mandated health/safety regulation. Still have questions?
